What is PectaSol®?
PectaSol® is a naturally occurring pectin polysaccharide (soluble fibre) derived from the pith of citrus fruit peels, including lemons, limes and oranges. Once extracted from the pith, the pectin fibre is reduced to a tiny molecular size to support its absorption into circulation to support whole body health. Modified citrus pectin (MCP) supports the body's ability to neutralise Galectin-3 (Gal-3), an internally-produced unstable molecule that at high levels is associated with cell damage.
Optimal aging - PectaSol® supports the long-term healthy functioning of cells, tissues and organs that naturally deteriorate due to the aging process. It supports the natural detoxification of Gal-3.
Immune support - PectaSol® supports the body's innate immune response, maintaining healthy immune function as we age. It supports the normal activation of white blood cells for healthy immune defence and maintains healthy cytokine activity.

Suggested Use
Recommended intake:
For maximum support, take 15 g (3 scoops) in 2-3 divided doses, mixed with liquid, on an empty stomach. For maintenance support, take 1 scoop per day, mixed with liquid, on an empty stomach, or as recommended by your healthcare practitioner.

PectaSol powder is taken apart from food-30 minutes before or 1.5 hours after eating-for best absorption, mixed into liquid on an empty stomach. One 5g scoop is the standard serving: for maintenance, that's one scoop a day; for fuller support, one scoop three times daily (15g total), or as directed by your practitioner. A simple approach is tying your first dose to a non-food morning habit - right after you brush your teeth, when you boil the kettle, or as soon as you get out of the shower, so it becomes routine rather than another thing to remember. If you're taking other supplements or medications, space them apart from PectaSol.

Because PectaSol is taken on an empty stomach - away from food - think of it as bracketing your meals rather than joining them. A practical rhythm:
Morning - a scoop stirred into warm water first thing, then breakfast about half an hour later: Greek yoghurt, berries and a spoon of chia seeds, or eggs with wilted spinach on wholegrain toast
Midday - a scoop well before lunch, with grilled chicken or tofu over greens, quinoa and colourful vegetables to follow
Evening - a scoop between lunch and dinner, ahead of baked salmon or a lentil stew with roasted kumara and steamed broccoli
Tip: stir immediately as you add liquid, and warm water dissolves it best. The unflavoured powder has a very mild, bland taste.
